SEC launches "Investomania" Game Show Campaign | 47

Do you find investing interesting? Many think it is an "adult thing" since you deal with money, focus in generating income, asset allocation, hedge funds, etc. However, SEC decided to switch it up and introduce "Investomania". It is a game show-themed public service campaign which reminds investors to do their diligence when making investment decisions and avoid fraud.

According to the Director of SEC’s Office of Investor Education and Advocacy Lori Schock, it is to attract the attention of all kinds of investors through a lighthearted approach with this year's public service campaign. She added: “Investors are inundated with a lot of so-called ‘investment advice,’ and we encourage investors to outsmart the chatter by doing their own research and going to Investor.gov for information on how to avoid fraud and invest for their future.”

The creativity that SEC has for their campaign inspires TCFS & Associates to also be creative, mindful, and get information from trustworthy sources before investing. The Investomania is something to look forward to because it captures the audience's attention about the risks in investing and be educated about investments.
